Every year, KCRW in Los Angeles holds a “Radio Race” — a 24-hour race for radio producers around the world to create an audio piece based on a theme that’s announced the morning of the event. This year’s theme was “What Lies Beneath,” so my podcast partner and I headed under the streets of LA. We won 4th place out of 400 entries.
